Early Childhood Resources
Early childhood is arguably the most critical time in your child's development. According to current brain research, it is the only time where your child is pruning existing neurological pathways while the brain is actually growing in size. It is the combination of these two factors that make early childhood unique. Your child's brain will strengthen the neurological connections (brain roads) based on experiences. As these brain highways are being created, the less traveled connections are being lost. While your child's brain will have the opportunity to change throughout his life, this time is critical.
